Dr. Herrera is both polite and explains her treatment plan and her approach of your treatment in a very understandable way. I used to have a fear of dental treatments and I hadn't gone to the dentist in over 2(?) years. However, I needed a ton of cavities treated and a friend recommended I come in for treatment here. Honestly, with the year of appointments I've had with Dr. Ariyoshi and her dental hygienists (assistants? Not sure what they're called but they're all amazing) my faith in dentists has been restored. I no longer feel jittery and anxious when I go to the dentist. Dr. Ariyoshi is very kind and patient, and she answers any questions I have with ease. In general everyone at the clinic is very kind and they try their best to make you feel comfortable there (and they succeed!) I recommend this clinic to everyone I know who needs dental care. The whole staff at Herrera Family Dental is fantastic. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, everyone is very kind and very knowledgable. Wow!!!! This place is amazing! I came in last week for a root canal. I was extremely scared because i have severe dental anxiety. My assistant (i think her name was Tiffany D) came and greeted me in the waiting room. She seated me in the chair and i immediately felt at peace. She joked with me about my cheetah headband and kept everything super light hearted. Dr A was very efficient and fast at the procedure. Didn’t feel a thing! Awesome Dentist office! I was looking for something different, other than the typical corporate cookie cutter dentist offices that are all over town. That is only concerned about production and will drill in every tooth if you let them to make a buck. NOT Dr. Herrera she is very friendly makes you feel very comfortable on your first visit. She along with the staff communicate with you throughout the whole process and she will only recommend treatment for things detrimental to your oral hygiene.(She could of recommended me treatment on my first visit that was a lot more expensive but she said she was going to take the conservative route and watch it) which blew my mind because I have never had a dentist take the “ conservative route.” Her prices are very reasonable and I guarantee you that you won’t regret giving Herrera Family Dental a try.
